You found me a buyer – twice!

Retired Sales Manager Liz from London says she was “very impressed” with the service she got the first time HomeEspaña found a buyer for her Playa Flamenca apartment back in 2019.

“The service, lots of viewings, communication… and also, you found me a buyer! You were very quick,” Liz says. She first heard about HomeEspaña via word of mouth, but she also said price was a factor, when first opting to list her apartment with HomeEspaña. “I’ll be honest, price as well, because HomeEspaña were very competitive compared to other estate agents”.

Despite HomeEspaña finding a buyer, Liz changed her mind and decided to take her apartment off the market temporarily… and then the Covid 19 pandemic hit, she explained. “I wish I had sold it
back then.”

Liz had owned the two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment for 20 years and visited Spain “four or five times a year” over that period. Liz says the location and price of the apartment were what convinced her to buy it. The apartment is only a 10-minute walk to the nearest beach and the Playa Flamenca Shopping Centre and Liz says she has many fond memories of her holidays there.

At the end of last year, Liz decided to sell and returned to HomeEspaña who remembered her. HomeEspaña listed the apartment again in December last year and sold it in March this year fully furnished for €90,000, the sale completing at the notary in June.

Liz was unable to visit Spain to close the deal, so she gave Power of Attorney to her solicitor. “My solicitor and HomeEspaña handled the sale and I was impressed with how smoothly it went.”

Liz says this experience was in stark contrast to when she purchased her apartment through another agent.

“That was very stressful,” she recalls. “Bex and Jade (at HomeEspaña) were absolutely brilliant and nothing was too much trouble! Jade even organised a locksmith within 24 hours! And Bex kept me posted with prompt feedback on viewings,” Liz says. “Gloria from Aftersales was also very helpful and efficient. I would totally recommend HomeEspaña.”
